What is the Preferred Experience luxury driving experience and what makes it unique?
The Preferred Experience offers an unforgettable luxury driving experience through breathtaking alpine landscapes in an exclusive sports car. Spectacular mountain routes combined with carefully selected Preferred Hotels create a unique format that blends exhilarating driving with moments of relaxation in perfect harmony.

Impressive scenery, refined culinary highlights, and luxurious accommodation define each stage of the journey, from the elegant Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich, to the renowned Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol, the IMLAUER Hotel Schloss Pichlarn, and Das Achental in the Chiemgau region.

The result is a seamlessly curated premium driving experience designed for those seeking something truly exceptional and unforgettable.

Booking

When should I book a luxury driving experience in the Alps?
Due to high demand, we recommend registering as early as possible via the Preferred Experience website to secure your preferred dates and availability.

What are the requirements to participate in the driving experience?
To participate in the event, guests must be at least 27 years old at the start of the experience and present a valid driving licence on site. Further information about the driving licence requirements can be found in the Conclusion of the Contract section of our Terms and Conditions.

Can I add extra nights before or after the driving tour?
Yes, additional nights can be arranged by contacting us directly.

Where can I stay before or after the driving experience?
Pre- and post-tour nights are available at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof.

Can I book wellness and sports activities during the experience?
Yes, wellness and sports activities can be arranged individually by contacting the respective hotel directly.

What can I do if my preferred date is fully booked?
If your desired date is already fully booked, you can proceed with the registration process on the Preferred Experience website by selecting your desired date and registering for the corresponding waiting list. Should places become available, the Preferred Experience Team will contact you accordingly. Please note that being on the waiting list does not constitute a booking or a binding reservation, and participation remains subject to availability without any guaranteed entitlement to a place.

When will I receive the programme and event documents?
After your booking has been completed, you will receive a preliminary programme schedule. The complete event documents are usually sent approximately two weeks before the start of the event.

How and when do I pay for the driving experience?
After completing your booking, a deposit of 25% of the participation fee is required. The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the start of the event.

How do I communicate dietary preferences or special requirements?
You have the option to specify your preferences during the booking process. We kindly ask you to inform us in advance of any dietary requirements, habits, or intolerances so that we can take them into consideration accordingly.

Vehicles and driving programme

What cars are included in the luxury driving experience?
Guests may enjoy a hand-selected fleet of premium performance vehicles, which may include models such as the Porsche 718 Cayman, Alpine A110 R, Ferrari Roma, Porsche 911 GT3, Audi R8, and Aston Martin Vantage. Please note that vehicle availability may vary. While no entitlement exists to a specific model or brand, guests will always be provided with a luxury sports car of comparable category and value.

Can I choose or request a specific sports car?
While we cannot guarantee a specific model in advance, guests are welcome to share preferences with our team before departure. We will gladly note these requests wherever possible. During the experience, vehicle changes between participants may also allow guests to enjoy multiple models. Please understand that due to limited vehicle availability, special vehicle requests can only be accommodated to a limited extent.

Can I drive alone or share a car during the experience?
Each vehicle is shared by two participants. If travelling as a couple, you may share a car together. Solo travellers will be paired with another guest.

Which driving regulations apply during the tour?
The road traffic regulations of the respective destination country apply. For this experience, these are the regulations of Germany and Austria.

General information

Do I need to arrange my own travel to and from the event?
Yes, all outbound and return journeys are arranged independently by the traveler.

Are credit cards accepted during the trip?
Yes, Visa and Mastercard are widely accepted in hotels, lodges, souvenir shops, and most other establishments.

What weather and temperatures can I expect in the Alps?
Throughout the day, temperatures typically range between 25–30 °C, offering warm and pleasant driving conditions. In the evening, temperatures drop to 13–18 °C, creating a refreshing alpine atmosphere.

Are pets or animals allowed during the experience?
For safety reasons, animals are not permitted at the event.

What insurance is included in the driving experience?
The participation fee includes an insurance package from HanseMerkur Reiseversicherung AG, which covers travel cancellation insurance and travel accident insurance. The exact details and scope of coverage can be found here. During the booking process, you also have the option to deselect the insurance package, in that case the insurance coverage will not be included.

Do I need a visa for the driving experience in Germany and Austria?
Whether a visa is required depends on your nationality. All information regarding the passport and visa requirements for your destination can be found in the following links:

Kindly note that it is your responsibility to ensure you obtain and carry all necessary travel documents, arrange any required vaccinations, and comply with applicable customs and foreign exchange regulations.
